The COVID-19 Situation in Moldova

Moldova reports 367 new cases of coronavirus, 21 of the cases are in the breakaway Transnistria region. From the 367 new cases, five cases are imported, two from Ukraine and three from Italy, Russia, and Turkey. 

The number of people infected with the new type of coronavirus reached 23,521. At the same time, 16,462 people recovered, while the number of COVID-19 deaths reached 753. 

Today, the authorities performed 1,829 tests, from which 496 are repeated tests.  

Of the total number of cases on this day, 19 are medical workers: doctors – seven, nurses – 11, auxiliary staff – one.
