Japan Donates 800,000 Euros to Moldova to Purchase Medical Equipment
Moldova is to receive a grant of 100 million Japanese yen, the equivalent of about 800 thousand euros from Japan, money that will be used to purchase medical equipment.
On Thursday, August 19, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft law on ratification of the Grant Agreement, drawn up by an exchange of notes, between the two governments, signed at the end of 2020.
The grant offered by the Government of Japan will contribute to the strengthening of the capacities of the health system of Moldova, by procuring the necessary medical equipment, products or services, based on a pre-established list.
