Ilan Shor comes with his first statements after being sentenced to 15 years in prison by the Court of Appeal.
“Today’s decision is revenge for my and my party’s fight for justice for the people, for the good life of the people,” Șor says.
“Today’s decision of the Chisinau Court of Appeal is illegal, it was taken under pressure and in violation of all legal provisions. The magistrates who took this decision will very soon be behind bars. Today’s decision leaves me cold, I am not going to comply with it and I assure you that it will be overturned the day after the current regime change. With today’s ruling, the government has taken revenge for the protest movement, for the fact that I and my team are fighting for a decent living for citizens. I want the citizens of Moldova to understand that neither this decision nor any other will prevent me from going ahead and fighting to the end, until we will bring down the bandits in government and build a beautiful and rich Moldova. On May 7, continue the struggle in the streets, peacefully, to achieve victory!” the post reads.
