The candidates proposed by the PSC for the interim position of Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (PA) are to be appointed by order of the interim Prosecutor General Ion Munteanu.
Mihail Ivanov was appointed as a prosecutor in the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office in November 2010. He is handling the prosecution of the case concerning illegal financing of the “ȘOR” political party. Ivanov is also the head of the investigation group in the case of the 13 former defectors.

Vasile Plevan is a prosecutor in the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (PA). In 2021, the CSP appointed Vasile Plevan to examine alleged illegal actions of the suspended Prosecutor General Alexandru Stoianoglo, after the former head of the PA Viorel Morari submitted a request in this regard.
Vasile Plevan, the prosecutor appointed by the PSC to examine Stoianoglo’s statements made in connection with a criminal case against Morari, signed the order releasing from solitary confinement Sinilga Școlnic, the Ciocana sector’s prefect, who is under investigation for corruption.
In March 2014, Vasile Plevan was appointed to the position of prosecutor in the Strășeni Prosecutor’s Office. Subsequently, in 2015, he was appointed as a prosecutor in the Ialoveni District Prosecutor’s Office. On 17 October 2019, the PSC designated Vasile Plevan as the winner of the competition for promotion to the vacant position of prosecutor in the PA and proposed to the Prosecutor General his appointment to the vacant position of prosecutor in the court.
