The result of the searches in Hincesti: Six people have suspect status in a case of fraudulent allocation of land
On the morning of 12 October, PCCOCS prosecutors, together with officers from the National Investigation Inspectorate (INI), raided the premises of responsible persons in the City Hall of Hincesti. The Prosecutor’s Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases (PCCOCS) announces that following early morning raids carried out jointly with officers from the National Investigation Inspectorate (INI) in a case of fraudulent land allocation in the municipality of Hancesti, relevant documents were seized, and six persons with responsible positions in the City Hall, as well as intermediaries, were assigned the status of suspects.
“Six persons, suspected in a case of fraudulent allocation of land in the municipality of Hincesti, were summoned for hearings by PCCOCS prosecutors.
Following morning searches on the file, jointly with INI officers, relevant documents were seized and the summoned persons (with responsible position in the City Hall, as well as interposed persons) were assigned the status of suspect.
Investigations are continuing, during which time the persons concerned are presumed innocent, according to the law”, announces PCCOCS.
