Maia Sandu, Together with Several Ministers, will Pay a Visit to Bucharest on November 23th
President Maia Sandu, together with several ministers, will pay an official visit to Romania on Tuesday, November 23, at the invitation of the Romanian President, Klaus Iohannis, the presidential administration announces.
According to the communiqué of the Presidency, at the Cotroceni Palace, Maia Sandu will be greeted by the President of Romania, Klaus Werner Iohannis. After the official reception ceremony and discussions with the participation of delegations, the two leaders will hold a joint press conference.
Also, president Maia Sandu will have meetings with the interim prime minister of Romania, Florin Cîțu, with the president of the Senate, Anca Dana Dragu, and with the interim president of the Chamber of Deputies, Sorin Mihai Grindeanu.
In Bucharest, the head of state will be accompanied by Cristina Gherasimov, Secretary General of the Presidency, and Sorina Ștefârță, advisor for public communication. The official delegation also includes Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration; Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Sp]nu, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development; Sergiu Prodan, Minister of Culture; Anatolie Topala, Minister of Education; and Victor Chirilă, the Designated Ambassador of Moldova to Romania.
During the visit, the priority areas of cooperation between Moldova – Romania and the Agreement between the Moldovan Government and the Romanian Government on the mutual recognition of diplomas, certificates, and scientific titles are to be signed.
