Moldovan Consuls and Ambassadors Recalled by the Government

Today, July 10, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nicolae Popescu proposed the recall of four ambassadors and two consuls of the Republic of Moldova at the Cabinet meeting. The proposal is related with completing the four-year term in office.
Thus, the following Chiefs of Diplomatic Missions / Consular Offices of the Republic of Moldova were recalled:
- Ala Beleavschi – from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to Canada;
- Iurie Bodrug – from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to the Republic of Poland;
- Igor Bolboceanu – from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to the Republic of Turkey, and through cumulation, to the Lebanese Republic and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan;
- Eugen Caras – from the position of Ambassador and Head of Mission of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union;
- Sergiu Goncerenco – from the position of representative of the General Consulate of the Republic of Moldova in Milan, the Republic of Italy;
- Anatol Stratulat – from the position of representative of the General Consulate of the Republic of Moldova in Frankfurt, Federal Republic of Germany
