The President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, will Visit Moldova on September 29-30
The President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, will visit Moldova on September 29-30, announces the German presidency.
According to the briefing note, President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will meet President Maia Sandu in Chișinău.â
In addition to holding political discussions with the president, prime minister, and representatives of the parliament, the President of Germany will meet with politicians and beneficiaries of the German academic exchange projects.
Frank-Walter Steinmeier will visit the Museum of Ethnography and the College of Engineering in Strășeni and will plant a tree in the Botanical Garden in Chișinău. The visit of the federal president will take place, according to the informative note, as a sign of support for the reform course followed by the president of Moldova, Maia Sandu, and the prime minister, Natalia Gavrilița. The federal president will be accompanied by a high-level business delegation.
