    The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Jakub Kulhánek, paid a visit to Chișinău on Friday, September 10, at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova, Nicu Popescu.

    The program of the Czech official’s visit included meetings with his Moldovan counterpart, Nicu Popescu, the President of the Parliament, Igor Grosu, and the Prime Minister, Natalia Gavrilița.

    The discussions addressed the main aspects of Moldovan-Czech cooperation, development assistance programs, as well as the European agenda of Moldova, in the perspective of the future Eastern Partnership Summit. The two officials made a joint press statement after the meeting.

    The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Nikos Dendias, paid a visit to Chișinău on Thursday, September 8, at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova, Nicu Popescu.
