Prime Minister Gavrilița Met the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Representative in Moldova, Angela Sax
The investment projects financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, in particular, the road rehabilitation projects and the railway infrastructure rehabilitation project were discussed on Friday, September 10, during the meeting between the Prime Minister, Natalia Gavrilița, and the head of the office of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Moldova, Angela Sax.
“We discussed the projects related to energy efficiency, rehabilitation of electricity transmission networks and interconnection of electricity networks between Moldova and Romania,” the representatives of the Executive announce in an informative note.
At the same time, it was agreed that the Government and EBRD teams review project concepts and related feasibility studies in order to make the right decisions regarding new projects and agreements.
“We also analyzed the provisions of the future solid waste management project that comes to contribute to the improvement of services in this field at the national level,” it is also shown in the informative note.
They also discussed the details on the participation in the EBRD’s Board of Directors, a two-day online event that replaces the traditional board consultation.
