We have launched a dialogue with France that will help the National Integrity Agency of Moldova to strengthen its capacity to improve its functioning in order to fight corruption,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nicu Popescu.
The program of the French official’s visit includes meetings with President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița. The discussions will address ways to intensify high-level political contacts, economic and cultural cooperation, as well as Moldova’s relations with the European Union.
The first foreign official to be visited by Moldova’s foreign minister was Latvia’s foreign minister, Edgars Rinkēvičs. The Moldovan Minister of Foreign Affairs discussed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia about the initiation of a dialogue on the recognition of driving licenses for citizens living in Latvia.
