President of the Moldovan Parliament Igor Grosu Meets the Romanian President, Klaus Iohannis, in Bucharest
The President of the Moldovan Parliament, Igor Grosu, met Romanian President, Klaus Iohannis, in Bucharest on Wednesday. Igor Grosu is on an official visit to Bucharest at the invitation of the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian Parliament, Ludovic Orban. Ten other deputies are part of the delegation of the Moldovan Parliament.
In this context, Igor Grosu thanked the Romanian President for the help offered to Moldovan citizens.
“I referred in particular to the aid provided during the pandemic – lots of equipment, tests, materials, and medicines needed for the Moldovan citizens in the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic; the over 500,000 doses of vaccine donated by the Government of Bucharest, the 6,000 tons of diesel, which came to support our farmers affected by the drought,” said Igor Grosu.
The President of the Parliament reiterated that “the new legislature is committed to implementing the entire reform agenda necessary for the lasting development of Moldova, and the priorities are: pandemic crisis management; recovery of economic consequences and reform in the field of justice.”
