Moldovan Driver’s License Could Be Recognized in Germany
Moldovan driver’s license could be recognized in Germany. The Moldovan Government approved in the meeting of Thursday, August 19, the project regarding the initiation of negotiations on the draft Agreement between Moldova and Germany on the conversion of driving licenses.
“This agreement is very important for our citizens settled in Germany,” said Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița.
Earlier in the day, President Maia Sandu said after a meeting with her German counterpart that she appreciated the willingness of the German authorities to waive the obligation of the theoretical examination for the conversion of the Moldovan driver’s license into a German one. At the same time, the head of state mentioned that negotiations for the signing of a permit agreement will be initiated in the near future.
