Prime Minister Gavrilița Meets the Russian Ambassador to Moldova
Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița had, on Monday, August 16, a meeting with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Moldova, Oleg Vasnetsov.
According to a Government note, Natalia Gavrilița “emphasized the importance of maintaining and consolidating a pragmatic and active dialogue on all aspects of the bilateral agenda, focused on identifying feasible solutions to existing problems.”
During the discussion, the two officials discussed the efficiency of intergovernmental mechanisms for implementing trade, culture and boosting bilateral cooperation.
On August 11, Dmitry Kozak, Putin’s special representative, had a meeting with President Maia Sandu, at the Presidency, which was attended by: Foreign Minister Nicu Popescu, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Vlad Kulminski , Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spînu, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Ana Revenco, Minister of Internal Affairs, as well as Cristina Gherasimov, President’s Adviser on Foreign Policy.
Dmitry Kozak, Putin’s Special Representative: ”Solving the Transnistrian Conflict is Moldova’s Business”
President Maia Sandu stated that during the meeting with Dmitri Kozak, the Special Representative of the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, discussed the issue of Moldovan agricultural products exports to the Russian market, the new natural gas supply contract for our country, including on the subject of settling the Transnistrian conflict.
