Ukraine Allocated 20,000 Port Authorizations for Moldova
The Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure jointly with the National Agency for Motor Transport and the International Association of Motor Carriers announce that they have conducted negotiations on the allocation of an additional quota of authorizations for transport operators in Moldova. Thus, Ukraine allocated 20,000 port authorizations for Moldova.
The additional quota of 20,000 authorizations is granted for the transport of cereals to the port of Reni and was sent on July 30, during the meeting of representatives of the National Agency for Motor Transport with the relevant authorities in Ukraine.
By obtaining the additional share of road authorizations, domestic producers and exporters of cereals were granted access to Ukrainian ports to export goods to the foreign market on time.
During the meeting, the parties also exchanged statistical data, noting the dynamic increase in transport flows despite the restrictions imposed by states to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection and confirmed the need to create favorable conditions for the further development of road transport in Moldova and Ukraine.
