A Driver of the Moldovan Embassy to Russia Caught while Crossing the Border with a Fake Driving License
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces that a driver of the Moldovan Embassy in the Russian Federation tried to cross the border with a fake driving license.
According to authorities, the incident took place on Monday, June 7, at the Palanca-Maiaki-Udobnoe border crossing.
“The border police found a driving license with signs of forgery by the driver of the car assigned to the diplomatic mission in Moscow. The Moldovan Embassy in the Russian Federation ensured the safe retrieval of the car,” the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs claim.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces that it recalled the driver as a disciplinary measure.
The Ambassador of Moldova to the Russian Federation is Vladimir Golovatiuc, who was the Socialist-Shor Parties’ candidate for prime minister.
