The Brother of a Socialist Deputy Promoted to the Director Position at the Center for Private Data Protection
The State Secretary of the Ministry of Interior Cornel Lebedinschi, that is the brother of the socialist deputy Adrian Lebedinschi, is proposed by the Socialist Party to the director position of the National Center for Personal Data Protection for a five-year mandate. The Socialist President of the Parliament, Zinaida Greceanii, registered a draft Decision in this regard.
”In order to ensure the continuity of the activity of the National Center for Personal Data Protection, Mr. Lebedinschi Cornel is proposed for the appointment of the director of the Center. We mention that Mr. Lebedinschi Cornel meets the conditions provided by law for the respective position and has all the necessary capacities to bring added value to the position to which he is to be appointed,” is mentioned in the Decision.
On 31 July 2020, Cornel Lebedinschi, was appointed as State Secretary at the Ministry of the Interior. He is the brother of the Central Election Commission Secretary Maxim Lebedinschi and the Socialist deputy Adrian Lebedinschi. According to the Law on personal data protection, the National Center for Personal Data Protection is headed by a director appointed by Parliament for a five-year term.
