The turkey farm
They say they do not hold on to power, but everything they do in these days demonstrates the opposite. It is becoming quite clear that they would be considered nobody if they lose power.
These people, brought in from the villages, pay with significant amounts of money and kept in heat, hungry and dirty, 24/7, are the first argument that the PDM governance does not accept to go into opposition. The second argument, though it may not seem a serious one, is the slaughtering of some turkeys, organized to draw public attention to the “ingenuity” of the members of this formation, but also to amuse and lead to believe that everything happening is just a hoax and things could still return to normal. Another argument, perhaps the strongest, is the lack of access of the new government to state institutions. Under the current conditions, this lack of access seems to be the greatest danger to the functioning of this state. Today, can anyone tell us exactly what the Filip Government officials do in the institutions they have blocked from the newly appointed officials, bringing passers by in front of official buildings? Where does the money to pay those who provide them with the intangibility of state institutions come from? Who can investigate today where this money comes from and how it is paid? Every day, in the center of Chisinau, there are acts of corruption, bribery of those brought in tents and on sidewalks, but who can investigate these cases today?
There’s more to be said. While the new Legislature adopts decisions on the creation of another parliamentary committee to investigate the theft of the billion, decisions to de-oligarchize the state, decisions to free institutions from captivity, the exponents of the previous power move unhindered in their offices, with access to stamps, treasury, access to state assets and money. Who can guarantee today that no more billions are stolen? Who can assure us that the attributes of power in this state will remain intact? Who can make sure that those who hold onto the armchairs do not steal from the goods at their disposal?
Just two days ago, on June 11, Pavel Filip promised the county presidents (most of whom, through blackmail, became members of the PDM): “Money will be received, we will transfer it in time, the salaries will be paid on time and the projects will be started on time. ” But what about those who are not part of PDM, will they also receive the money on time?
Also on June 11, 1 million lei was allocated from the budget for the elimination of the consequences of the heavy rains: Falesti county was allocated 587 thousand lei, for Drochia county – 282 thousand lei, and for Straseni county – 240 thousand lei. What were the criteria for doling out this money? Who will monitor these expenditures? Who will follow the path the money takes, during these days of power duality?
