President Maia Sandu has appointed her adviser in the field of national defense and security, secretary of the Supreme Security Council.
On 21 January, the President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, signed the decree appointing Ana Revenco as Advisor to the President of Moldova in the field of national defense and security, secretary of the Supreme Security Council.
Ana Revenco is the founder and executive director of the La Strada NGO.
Previously, she held the director position at the Center for Combating Human Trafficking within the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Revenco is an economist by profession. In 2002-2003 she did a master’s degree in the Administration of Non-Profit Organizations and had internships at the UN headquarters in New York, USA, and at a private company in Florida, USA. She speaks Romanian, Russian, and English.
