On Wednesday, the Ministers’ Cabinet approved Daniela Cujbă as Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MFAEI).

The head of the MFAEI, Oleg Țulea, stated that “the positions she has held so far in Moldova’s diplomatic system have focused on Moldova’s European integration, which she will manage as Secretary of State of the MFAEI.”

“Indeed, the experience and performance of Ms. Daniela Cujbă, especially in the field of European integration, are among the interests of running for office. We remain determined to continue the European integration plan “, said the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Ion Chicu.

In her 2019 financial disclosure, the newly appointed Secretary indicated a salary of over EUR 13,389 and around EUR 6,800 in a commercial bank account.

Daniela Cujbă was the head of the European Integration Board within the MFAEI, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and head of the Republic of Moldova’s mission to the European Union, in Brussels.
