The Customs Service employees found packages full of undeclared euros, at the Leușeni custom station.
On April 18, the Customs Service employees found undeclared money at the Leușeni custom station on the way of entering the country.
The Prosecutor’s Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases and the Customs Service investigate the case together.
ZdG contacted the spokesman of the Prosecutor’s Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases, who told us that the investigations are ongoing, and the institutions will come back with new details when they become available.
The information about the packages full of money appeared on several telegram channels, on the afternoon of April 18. The channels were stating that about €1.5 million had been detected and the money would have been allocated to political actors from Moldova.
