John Bolton, presidential adviser on U.S. national security issues, will pay a visit to the Republic of Moldovaon August 29. The Government announced about the visit in a press release.

“For many years the Republic of Moldova has been isolated internationally. The former Government found closed doors in the big capitals of the world: Washington, Brussels, Berlin. Moldova was in an oligarchic isolation.
Today the situation has changed. The most important foreign partners show interest for the Republic of Moldova. We find open doors, partnership proposals, support and openness.
In this context, I see an unprecedented development of our relations with the U.S.
Next week,John Bolton, the presidential adviser to the U.S. national security will visit Moldova. The fact that an official of this rank and from this field visits our country is a strong signal of support for the Republic of Moldova.” wrote Prime Minister Maia Sandu on her Facebook page.

At the same time, Prime Minister Sandu and other members of the Government will pay an official visit to the United States of America at the beginning of September 4.

According to the prime minister, “our priorities are to deepen the strategic dialogue with the U.S.A., to cooperate in key areas, to attract investments and to create jobs for our citizens at home”.

“I am sure that the partnership with the US will allow us to move on the path of democracy and progress, concluded Maia Sandu.

Earlier, the head of the Chisinău Government had meetings with officials from Vilnius, Kiev, Bucharest, Berlin and Brussels.
