Zelenski, message in Romanian: “Together let’s counter Russia’s challenges”
Volodimir Zelenski is the first European leader to arrive at Mimi Castle in the village of Bulboaca, Anenii Noi district, where the European Political Community Summit is being held. After the press statements and bilateral discussion with Maia Sandu, Zelenski came with a message on his Telegram page, which was written in Ukrainian, Romanian and English.

“Moldova and Ukraine are not only neighbors, but also reliable partners. We will continue to strengthen cooperation between our countries and together counter Russia’s challenges.” Zelenski said on his Telegram page.

For the first time since the outbreak of war in Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski, the central figure of Ukrainian resistance in the war of aggression unleashed by Russia, is in Moldova. The Ukrainian president is attending the European Political Community summit today, 1 June. Discussions will focus on energy stability and resilience, the sustainability of European states and joint efforts for peace, reports the Media Group for Security News.
At the European Political Community summit on 1 June, the 50 heads of state and government will be served dishes cooked according to reinterpreted traditional recipes, the organisers announced. As an appetizer, guests will taste the traditional savory sausages, stuffed with Moldovan-style stewed vegetables, covered with Saperavi wine glaze and smoked cream.
Moldova is hosting the European Political Community Summit on 1 June 2023, bringing together 50 European presidents, prime ministers and senior officials for the first time, according to the Media Group for Security News on the 2023 European Political Community Summit to be held in Moldova (GMSS-EPC).
The summit takes place at Mimi Castle in the village of Bulboaca, Anenii Noi district, about 35 kilometres from Chisinau. The European Political Community is a pan-European governmental forum set up last year in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, serving as a platform that brings together European leaders to discuss and identify solutions to Europe’s most pressing problems, such as security, stability and energy resilience.
